WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT VARIOUS OTHERS

With a mission is to intensify exchange and dialogue between the art scene in Munich and international partners, guests and media, VARIOUS OTHERS’ unique format connects Munich galleries, artist-run spaces,and museums in an annual series of events that form the joyful center point of the art agenda—this year more than ever.

VARIOUS OTHERS has increasingly become an essential feature of both the local art scene and the international art calendar since its first edition in 2018. The non-profit cooperative is committed to positioning the annual event within an international context. It initiates cooperative and international art projects in galleries, artist–run spaces and museums in Munich, while serving as a content-driven forum for contemporary art that takes place each year in September.

In 2021, 18 partners from 9 countries are taking part in the VARIOUS OTHERS program: from Basel and Brussel to Los Angeles and NYC, from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Paris and Hong Kong, to name a few.

During its four-week run, VARIOUS OTHERS offers a wide-ranging, high-caliber program on current trends in contemporary art as well as a variety of openings and special programs, underscoring Munich’s significance as an important art location, anticipating around 30,000 guests from Germany and abroad.See the official program here: https://variousothers.com/events
