Bring Art to the Streets of Vienna

Rolling works of art can now be seen in Vienna: We TheArtGorgeous and Uber, the platform for mobility, are collaborating with three young artists from Austria and presented the result for the first time this weekend as part of Vienna Art Week.At Uber Art, the artists Melanie Thöni, Daniel Ferstl and Onka Allmayer Beck, who work in Vienna, transform vehicles into unique works of art with their designs.

At the opening of Vienna Art Week, the cars were presented together with the up-and-coming art talents and Head of Uber Austria, Martin Essl, states about the collab: “Vienna is an absolute art and culture metropolis in Europe. I am very pleased that we are making young art from Austria more visible in public spaces with the recent campaign. A big thank you goes to the three talented artists.”Over the next few weeks, the three works of art will be installed on additional vehicles so more people get to see the creations. Viennese and tourists alike can not only discover these on the streets, but with a bit of luck they can also book them directly for the next ride via the Uber app.
