...good morning from the Northern Hemisphere where we are in full fall mode. Pumpkins on stoops and the leaves turning yellow. What are your fall delights? A fuzzy blanket and a good book? Podcasts? An autumnal walk in nature? This week we'll invite you to dial in globally to the filmmakers Festival Berlin; IRL our own Fabiana Salerno ( Head of HOUSE Berlin) did the hair for the amazing project AMNION and we cannot wait to see it! And in HongKong our collab with EAST kicks off with a breakfast talk. We'd also like to remind you of the fall season lunch series we got a few submissions but want to give those that missed it a chance to sign up as well before we start!Next week we will hop to London for the fairs, do let us know if you are in town, we will host a coffee for sure and maybe a few other things ;) And the week after we'll pop up in Paris, come enjoy Cyrils Art and have Macarons and Champagne!As always never hesitate to be in touch and keep us appraised of your projects!LoveCordelia, Maja & the Girls

 "According to the  European Parliamentary Research Service, 44% of women go to film school, but only 20% of them end up directing.  Events IRL HOUSE of BerlinAMNIONOctober 9 - November 10, 2021

Amnion: film, choreography and fashion design construct the body as the starting point of togetherness and support, merging into a collaboration that focuses on stability and empowerment. The exhibition Amnion is about shaping the self through togetherness. At the center is the eponymous film Amnion, in which bodies and materials construct figures around the pole that hold, tumble, shed their skins and grow. Amnion shows an utopia in which we give each other support in order to be able to let go. A central choreographic element is the pole on which the dancers grow, struggle and spin free. The costumes, made of layered materials, function as armor that is discarded in the process. What remains is skin and vulnerability, the foundation on which togetherness can grow. A critique of the elbow society, in which we can only reach our goal as lone fighters.

☕ Dear Friends ☕  TheArtGorgeous and EAST are excited to announce to team up for a global partnership to co-host the networking event series “Ideas to Wake Up To” with the topic of Creativity & Business starting from October 2021.  Events will be held at 3 different EAST locations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Miami month-by-month, inviting speakers from not only art & design industries but across disciplines to bring different insights on this creative-business intersection.  The idea of the partnership is to nourish and connect each others audiences, respectively also the local creative communities via co-hosted lectures, roundtables and hospitality benefits.
