...ladies and gents. We are more than 1/3 through the year already and somehow it feels like it is only slowly starting :) This week we shall virtually travel the world together in eager anticipation of all the travel we shall soon do again!Today we will join Denia in Crete in conversation with Adele in London.Four stellar ladies from the Middle Easter Art Scene will get together from their respective homes and talk art and change in recent years. We will head to Amsterdam for a unique opportunity to visit the largest ever ULAY retrospective and talk to Hana (Director Ulay Foundation) and Rein ( Director Stedelijk, Amsterdam) And then next week London Gallery Weekend is upon us with two tours limited spots so sign up early and the Milan IRL Edition of #theartgirlsmarket deadline to submit works via email is coming up end of the month!Love, Cordelia, Maja & the Girls

We are delighted to invite you to the 1st chapter of "The New Dynamic of the Middle East Art Scene" series, The United Arab Emirates.

The past 10 years have been exciting for the art scene in the Middle East. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have seen the multiplication of Art Fairs, Biennale, Art Foundations, Institutions, Art Places, Museums, art schools, etc.

The first chapter, in partnership with MENART Fair, will focus on the UAE. 4 major art institutions and their directors, in conversation with Vincent Larnicol, will take us through their role in this New Dynamic and the way they support the new generation of artists from the region.with Dyala Nusseibeh is the Director of Abu Dhabi Art, Vilma Jurkute, Executive Director of Alserkal, Manal Ataya, a leading figure in the UAE cultural sector & Maya Allison is the Chief Curator at NYU Abu Dhabi and founding Executive Director of the NYUAD Art Gallery & Curator of the UAE Pavilion to the Venice Biennale for 2022.

The largest-ever retrospective and first international posthumous exhibition of Ulay (1943–2020), one of Polaroid photography, performance and body art pioneers, opened in November 2020 at Stedelijk Museum and had to close just after a month. As it will not reopen, ULAY Foundation, Stedelijk and TheArtGorgeous joined forces and decided to give you an exclusive opportunity for a digital walkthrough. LONDON IRL eventGallery Weekend - South + East London Toursign up at the links below Saturday 5 June,Gallery Weekend Tour in South London, starting at the Drawing Room at 2pm, Rodney Pl, London SE17 1PP.Sunday 6 June Gallery Weekend Tour in East London, starting at the Annka Kulty Gallery at 12 noon, Unit 9, 472 Hackney Rd, London E2 9EQ.

It will be a small event, only 15 people allowed on each day to keep within the government guidelines so our Head of London Peigi ([email protected]) created an eventbrite so she can keep an eye on numbers. On the Saturday, Huma from the Drawing Room Gallery will take us on a guided tour around South London. And on the Sunday event Annka will supply the pastries and coffee for us and deliver a talk on founding a gallery, then we will explore surrounding participating galleries in the area.  Each day will be around 3-4 hours long, and people can dip in and out as they please depending on where we are on the tour.

#artgirlsmarket IRLMILANO EDITION June 12 - 13thworks, items must be submitted & picked up in person

We have BIG news, friends, and are excited to announce the first physical edition of #artgirlsmarket taking place in the heart of Milan from June 12 - 13th. All HOUSE members are warmly invited to submit a max of 3 works, sculptures, design objects, or preloved vintage pieces.Must be delivered Wednesday the 9th of June and if unsold picked up Sunday 13th of June in person in Milan.  Kindly do send images to [email protected] by May 24.It will be the first of many other cities to come!
