🏛️💌 HOUSE News 34/21 - Events to RSVP to this week🔮🏛️

2021 - Week 34
...lovely people around the world. First a little apology for the delay. Maybe you noticed, normally this is sent on Monday but somehow we were so swamped with prep for other stuff we didn't quite get around to hit the send button in time. So let this serve as a reminder, no one is perfect, sometimes we try to do too many things in a single day but failure is part of life :) 'And as the lovely quote by Nelson Madela goes:I never lose, I either win or lean.In other news Munich gals can go see our own Maja's show she curated with 300+ nudes, NYC can get excited about the end of summer pool party ( fingers crossed the weather permits it - we're thinking of you over there) and globally we get to enjoy our Joans show she curated for the folks at Philips early in September. Don't hesitate to share your fall plans with us, shows coming up, projects we should know about...the whole lot!LoveCordelia, Maja & the Girls

Simons Sammlung brings together roughly three hundred nudes, shot in locations on 6 continents with his collections of stones, butterflies, taxidermy and charming objects.
Wunderkammer is a marvelous word that comes to mind stepping into any space Simon Lohmeyer creates. First used in the 16th century the term describes a collection of wonders, some of them extraordinary examples of craft - fascinating and rare or simply stunning to look at. Oftentimes these collections held objects from faraway lands when their fauna and flora were still completely alien to the beholder.
Simon Lohmeyer lives and breathes this fascination for everything. Objects of value, objects of use, and items that can be sorted into the categories of fauna or flora of places he visits. There is no limitation to his love of nature which is also stunningly visualized in his own works of art, photographs of humans, in their most natural form, nude, often out in nature, or some of the more spectacular man-made structures on this planet.
For the first time, his collections of objects-trouvé and his nudes are shown together, allowing the visitor a glimpse into what it is like to see the world through his eyes.
Always curious, always open, and ever searching.
