Beyond Art With...Anne SpalterTuesday 27 April at 7 pm CETInstaTV on @The_Art_Gorgeous_HOUSE account
This time for Beyond Art with... Denia is getting together with Anne Spalter, revolutionary NY based artist, to talk Art, Tech and Life :) Tune in for our Insta Live session.
Digital mixed-media artist Anne Spalter is an academic pioneer who founded the original digital fine arts courses at Brown University and The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the 1990s and authored the internationally taught textbook, The Computer in the Visual Arts (Addison-Wesley, 1999).
Her artistic process combines a consistent set of personal symbols with a hybrid arsenal of traditional mark-making methods and innovative digital tools. A new body of work, further developed at a Winter 2019 residency at MASS MoCA, combines artificial intelligence algorithms with oil paint and pastels. She is currently creating work for the blockchain.
Spalter is also noted for her large-scale public projects. MTA Arts commissioned Spalter to create a 52-screen digital art installation, New York Dreaming, which remained on view in one of its most crowded commuter hubs (Fulton Center) for just under a year. Spalter’s 2019 large-scale projects included a 47,000 square foot LED video work on the Hong Kong harbor.
Spalter’s work is in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum (London, UK); the Albright-Knox Art Gallery (Buffalo, NY); the Rhode Island School of Design Museum (Providence, RI); The Museum of CryptoArt, and others. Alongside her studio practice, Spalter continues to lecture on digital art practice and theory.

How Creatives can create killer content across Social Media
with Hollie Hilton Thursday, 29
April 2021
19:00 (CET)
Hollie will share tried and tested best practices when delivering creative / art-led content on social media platforms, you'll learn some things to avoid, how to speak directly to your ideal audience, and gain some actionable content ideas and tips to help you increase your engagement online.
Hollie Hilton is a Freelance Social Media Strategist and Digital Content Producer who works exclusively with Artists and Art-led businesses such as galleries, grassroots organisations, tech start-ups, and charities, to help create compelling digital content that reaches new audiences. She also writes and hosts workshops to help Artists navigate online spaces and expand their digital presence.
Her degree in History of Art and experience working in-house for a gallery’s marketing and communications team, encouraged Hollie to use her skills and contextual knowledge to make Art and Culture more accessible to audiences that are often excluded or intimidated by it, and equip Artists with skills that help them achieve greater independence in the marketing and storytelling of their work.

Check out Culturallwhere our member Mariana Holguinis the Arts Editor
details below, they are inviting you to contribute!!
Culturall is a digital journal interested in culture and the arts and how they can influence and improve business and public policy. We take the liberal view that business can change the world and that culture is gloriously undefined.
We are always looking for the opportunity to partner with businesses and organisations who share these interests and for whom we can offer narrative and consultancy.
We welcome writers from diverse and varied backgrounds, with ideas to express and stories to tell.
Please feel free to reach out to any of our editorial team with queries, questions and ideas.
