A WEEKLY WRAP UP OF ART, FASHION AND POP CULTURE
Welcome to the Friday Art Girl Fax newsletter, where we explore the intersection of art, fashion, and pop culture.
After a week of deadlines, meetings, and studio visits, this is what you deserve: fresh highlights, unexpected gems, and the stories shaping the week.
Hugs and stay sane,

POMPIDOU ON PAUSE
Paris’s Centre Pompidou has officially closed for a five-year renovation, with a planned reopening in 2030. Director Laurent Le Bon promises visitors will feel “the same shock as when the Centre opened in 1977.” Consider our calendars marked.
GUCCI’S NEW CHAPTER WITH DEMNA
Gucci unveiled Demna’s debut collection, La Famiglia, reasserting luxury’s core strength, storytelling, with a vivid portrait of unique personalities and a sweep of quintessential Gucci styles. True to Demna’s irreverent touch, it nods to the house’s dramatic past while signalling a bold new era. And yes, we’re obsessed with the frames.
GIANT LABUBU TAKES FLIGHT IN HONG KONG
Even #TyphoonRagasa couldn’t stop Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung from unveiling Inside the Monsters x Hong Kong International Airport. Marking 10 years of The Monsters, the show features a playful 7-metre-tall Labubu.
MARINA ABRAMOVIĆ MAKES VENICE HISTORY
Next May, during the Venice Biennale, it has been revealed that Marina Abramović will become the first living woman to stage a solo exhibition at the Galleria dell’Accademia. Her show Transforming Energy, inspired by her epic 1988 Great Wall walk with Ulay, follows her record-breaking Royal Academy solo and leads into her 80th birthday year. Icon status: certified.
SIMONE ROCHA’S WILD GIRLHOOD
London designer Simone Rocha spotlighted rebellious femininity at LFW with a collection inspired by Justine Kurland’s portraits of fearless, mischievous girls, claiming the boldness so often celebrated in boys. She also delivered one of our favourite accessories of the season so far: an embellished pillow that’s equal parts statement piece and dreamscape.
💥 PARTNER SPOTLIGHT - I FEEL IT. YOU?💥
Powered by i feel it. you?
This edition’s partner i feel it. you? is a feels-first label for inner builders. It all started on a sunlit, lumpy tennis court wrapped in wild green, where bad tennis and big laughs taught the founders to step past the lines - past status games and perfection - into presence. Cut for movement. Tuned for giggles and real connection. Imperfectly perfect, every day. Since we from TheArtGorgeous totally can picture you strolling around the next studio visit or art fair with one of the brands feel-good items, we are excited to offer you this friendship deal: 30% off + free gift = self-love + community service // code: FEELGORG30
