✨ A NEW CHANEL UNIVERSE

Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel debut opened a glittering new chapter for the maison, a celestial beginning that shimmered with intent. The set design broke from Chanel’s familiar codes, immersing guests in an atmosphere that was at once intimate and otherworldly. Online, many drew parallels to The Jewel System by Pakistani artist Sara Shakeel, whose cosmic vision continues to resonate across fashion and art.

🪑 INDUSTRIAL ICONS REIMAGINED

Following last month’s reedition of Pierre Paulin’s unseen designs, Paulin, Paulin, Paulin has unveiled its first official campaign since the designer’s passing, captured by photographer Thibaut Grevet. On show at Galerie Devals, Paris, Grevet’s images are in direct conversation with Paulin’s iconic furniture.

💗 THE BRITISH MUSEUM GOES PINK

The British Museum is swapping academia for after-dark glamour with its first-ever fundraising ball, with many thinking it may rival the Met Gala. Aptly named the Pink Ball, it coincides with the final weekend of the museum’s Ancient India exhibition, drawing inspiration from the light, textiles, and colours of the subcontinent.

🏛 CASA BATLLÓ OPENS NEW DOORS

In Barcelona, Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Batlló is about to unveil its second floor to the public for the first time ever. From January 2026, the newly restored space will serve as a contemporary art gallery, expanding the Casa Batlló Contemporary programme, a dialogue between Gaudí’s legacy and today’s creative voices.

💥 PARTNER SPOTLIGHT - MANA CONTEMPORARY💥

Powered by Mana Contemporary

We are excited to team up with Mana Contemporary for this Art Girl Fax issue. Currently on view is reMastered, Jac Lahav’s solo exhibition that reimagines iconic record album covers through gouache and acrylic, exploring the deep connections between sound, memory, and artmaking. Inspired by a Russian bootleg of Sonic Youth’s Daydream Nationfeaturing Gerhard Richter’s Candle, Lahav transforms each cover into both icon and portal — a must-see for anyone curious about the dialogue between music and visual culture. Join Mana Contemporary’s Open House on October 19 from noon to 6pm, and for everyone not in town, see all available covers here and snap your personal soundtrack canvas before anyone else does.
