Hello, Gorgeous!

A weekly wrap up of art, fashion and pop culture
Welcome to the Friday Weekly Wrap-Up newsletter, where we explore the intersection of Art, Fashion, and Pop Culture.Hugs and stay sane,The Girls
1. Frieze Galleries to Watch in 2025

Frieze has revealed the galleries to watch in 2025, and they’re bringing bold moves and global ambitions. Highlights include NIKA Project Space’s focus on underrepresented regions, CYLINDER’s tech-driven exhibitions in Seoul, and Sea View’s material poetics in Los Angeles
2. Young Artists, Get Ready!

The Royal Academy of Arts’ 2025 Young Artists’ Summer Show is now accepting submissions for students aged 4–18 in the UK. This open submission exhibition offers a chance for young artists to showcase their work and be judged by a panel of industry professionals. Submissions are open until 5th March 2025—don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this exciting event.
3. Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami

Two decades after their iconic collaboration, Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami are rekindling their creative partnership with a fresh re-edition collection launching on 1st January 2025. The collection features the beloved It bags alongside remastered versions of Murakami’s anime short films Superflat Monogram and Superflat First Love. The collection debuted on 1st January with global pop-ups, while both films will be available online, including a special screening at Cinema Spazio Etoile in Rome.

4. 2025 Colour Trends: Bold is Back

Fashion is leaving minimalism behind for 2025, embracing bold hues like emerald green, true red, and tangerine. While Pantone’s Mocha Mousse is the official colour, runways dazzled with vibrant tones that scream maximalism. Designers like Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello and Prada’s Raf Simons showcased eye-popping colour-blocking, while others like Ferragamo’s Maximilian Davis and Brandon Maxwell balanced bold and subdued hues, proving 2025 is all about fun, lavish colour.
