Hello, Gorgeous!

A weekly wrap up of art, fashion and pop culture
Welcome to the Friday Weekly Wrap-Up newsletter, where we explore the intersection of Art, Fashion, and Pop Culture.Hugs and stay sane,The Girls
1. Spotted: Banksy’s latest London takeover

Swinging into the spotlight, three monkeys have taken centre stage on an overpass above South London’s Brick Lane, as revealed on Banksy’s Instagram—a signature move for the elusive artist. This announcement comes shortly after Banksy’s mural depicting a goat in a precarious balance was revealed near Kew Bridge in Richmond. Another portrayal of two elephants on a Chelsea building also popped up on his Instagram feed last week, making this the artist’s third reveal.
2. Lively’s vintage Versace tribute

@Blakelively turned heads at the premiere of It Ends With Us last night, stepping out in a unique Versace gown that once graced Britney Spears in 2003. Lively, safeguarding this noughties treasure for six months, used the spotlight to pay homage to Spears, hailing her as an inspirational force and a pioneer for women sharing their powerful stories. Excited about Spears’ much-anticipated biopic, Lively expressed her admiration and gratitude to the pop icon for paving the way.
3. Brat birthday bouquet

@charli_xcx celebrated her 32nd birthday in LA with a show-stopping gift from @rosalia.vt —a bouquet of ciggie flowers that sparked buzz all night! At first glance, the arrangement looked like elegant Calla Lilies, but a closer look revealed a clever switch: the stems had been replaced with cigarettes. Bent and twisted ciggies peeked out from the sculptural petals, perfectly embodying Charli’s signature Brat style.

4. Moco Museum opens in London!

This weekend, the internationally acclaimed Moco Museum opens in London! Located at 1-4 Marble Arch, Moco Museum London is set to be the new cultural landmark amidst the city’s vibrant hustle. Expect a modern and contemporary art display, from Warhol and Basquiat to KAWS and Tracey Emin. Inspired by the energy of its sister sites in Amsterdam and Barcelona.
