1. Christine Quinn says “I do” to Diesel

Christine Quinn, known for her role on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset,”, shines as an alternative bride in Diesel’s latest wedding-themed Fall Winter 2024 campaign, “Til D do us part.” Set in Cape Town, this playful and ironic twist on a traditional wedding campaign spotlights denim in its most creative and sexy forms. The campaign, a collaboration between creative director Glenn Martens and art director Christopher Simmonds, features photography by Nick Waplington, who captures the joyful chaos of the big day.
2. Cavendish’s Final Tour de France Shoes: A Masterpiece by Damien Hirst

Mark Cavendish, the Manx road racing cyclist, shared on Instagram: “I’ve been very lucky to have had creative freedom on my shoes throughout my career with @nike. But the pair that I will finish my final @letourdefrance with are something incredibly special.” This time, he’s teamed up with Damien Hirst to create a unique design. The yellow and green swoosh symbolizes the race’s structured chaos, while the iconic butterflies reflect his feelings about this stage of his career—life, death, metamorphosis. “I’m so proud to wear these works of art,” he added.
3. Rare Stegosaurus Skeleton Sells for Record $44.6M at Sotheby’s!

A rare dinosaur skeleton just roared its way into history, selling for a whopping $44.6 million at Sotheby’s New York last week. This awe-inspiring Stegosaurus, dubbed “Apex,” is now the most valuable fossil ever auctioned. The lucky new owner? None other than Ken Griffin, the billionaire hedge-fund mogul behind Citadel. Word on the street is that Griffin plans to share this prehistoric treasure by potentially loaning it to a US institution. Looks like “Apex” might soon be making its museum debut!

4. ‘Feline Fun’ Bring Your Cat to Shanghai Museum’s Egyptian Antiquities Exhibit

Shanghai Museum is hosting a unique event where visitors can bring their cats to celebrate its new Egyptian antiquities exhibition, “On Top of the Pyramid,” that opened last week. This 13-month exhibition, featuring over 780 artifacts, pays tribute to Ancient Egypt’s love for cats. Starting July 27, the museum will have feline-friendly events on ten Saturday evenings, including a “Cat Temple” for photos and other activities.
5. Loewe Takes the Throne: Fashion’s Hottest Brand of Q2 2024

The Lyst just dropped its Q2 2024 report, and guess who’s sitting pretty at the top? Loewe! It’s their first time claiming the crown since Q2 2023. Last quarter’s champs, Miu Miu and Prada, are now rocking the second and third spots. Loewe’s iconic branded tanks and stylish woven basket bags are particularly proving popular, flying off the virtual shelves, sparking a 29% surge in online searches this quarter.
