1. Hot Rodent Men Of Art History

Artnet has unveiled the historical “rodent men” of art in a recent article by Jo Lawson-Tancred. Recently, the internet has been swarmed with pin-ups of “hot rodent men” like actors Jeremy Allen White and Josh O’Connor, appealing particularly to Gen Z. Surprisingly, this admiration for angular and disheveled features isn’t new. 2. Hedgehog Chic: JW Anderson’s Latest ‘Best in Show’ Collection

JW Anderson is shifting gears from pigeons to hedgehogs with his latest “Best in Show” capsule collection, introducing charming new motifs. The standout piece is a 3D-printed hedgehog clutch, featuring intricate details and a removable top for added storage. This playful design extends to a line-up of sweaters and hoodies adorned with the hedgehog illustration.
3. Gong* – Peace at Glastonbury – Gong*

Serbian conceptual artist Marina Abramović delivered a powerful message for peace on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival 2024. Encouraging the audience to connect through touch and silence, her performance resonated deeply with the festival’s theme of “Peace.”



4. Banksy’s Glastonbury Art Installation

Elsewhere at Glastonbury Festival, Banksy debuted an inflatable life raft with dummy passengers at a concert by British punk rock band Idles. Audience members crowd-surfed the raft during the band’s performance of their song “Danny Nedelko”, resembling the boats used by refugees crossing the English Channel. Banksy later confirmed ownership of the stunt on Instagram with a video clip of the event.
5. Brat Girl Summer: Slime Green Trend Takes Off!

It’s officially a “brat girl summer,” as searches for slime green have surged by 17% in the past two weeks. “Brat,” the latest studio album by English singer Charli XCX, dropped on 7 June 2024 via Atlantic Records. Now, we’re left wondering: will this vibrant color seep into artists’ work this summer, inspired by the trend?
