1. Art Basel’s Inaugural Store

This year at Art Basel, guests had the opportunity to take home a piece of the experience with unique keepsakes, bespoke lifestyle products, artist editions, and more. Curated by retail visionary Sarah Andelman, Art Basel’s inaugural store offers an exclusive blend of art, books, magazines, fashion, and mementos. Those extra lucky were also able to also pick up a copy of TheArtGorgeous there. We were so honored to be included in the all star selection.
2. 1 Dream, 1 House, 99 Steps, 47 Looks, 40 Guests & 25 Degrees

This week, amidst the luxurious backdrop of Jacquemus’ 15th anniversary show titled “LA CASA” in Capri, attended by stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Dua Lipa, and model-of-the-moment Jennie Kim, the brand underscored its elevated status. Zebra patterns, toe mules, popped collars, and pencil skirts introduced a bourgeois flair, while menswear featured playful mariniere motifs and below-the-knee pleated pants.

3. Animal Rights Protest Targets King Charles Portrait

Animal rights protesters have targeted a portrait of King Charles this week that was widely debated online. The painting was altered with the face of Wallace from Wallace and Gromit, accompanied by a speech bubble stating: “No cheese, Gromit. Look at all this cruelty on RSPCA farms!” Animal Rising, the group responsible, criticized the welfare standards of RSPCA-assured farms with this protest message.



4. Calling Young Writers: Enter Write on Art 2024!

5. Tiny Picasso: Two-Year-Old Artist’s Paintings Sell for $7000 Each

Yet another young artist is making waves in the art world. In Germany, a two-year-old boy is being celebrated as a “pint-sized Picasso” for selling his paintings for around $7000 each. Laurent Schwarz from Bavaria has created a portfolio of abstract paintings of elephants, dinosaurs and horses, among others.
