A painting by the French post-Impressionist artist Edouard-Leon Cortés, which had been stolen from a New York gallery 60 years ago, has been successfully recovered in the United Kingdom. This artwork was among the 3,000 paintings stolen from the Herbert Arnot Gallery.

When asked if his name was “Robert Banks” during the Turf War exhibition in London, the artist replied, “It’s Robbie.”
