1. Danish Artist Jens Haaning (Quite Literally) Took the Money & Run

A Danish artist has been instructed to reimburse 500,000 kroner to the Kunsten Museum after he provided them with two empty canvasses for a project he titled “Take the Money and Run.” Following an extended legal dispute, a Copenhagen court ruled on Monday that Jens Haaning, aged 58, must repay the museum. Kunsten’s director Lasse Andersson revealed that he burst into laughter upon initially encountering the two blank canvasses in 2021 and opted to exhibit them nonetheless.

2. Sculpture Celebrates Hijab-Wearing Women

3. Simone Rocha to Join Jean Paul Gaultier as Guest Designer

London-based designer Simone Rocha is set to become the latest guest designer at Jean Paul Gaultier. She will succeed Julien Dossena, following her SS24 show inspired by a dress rehearsal at the English National Ballet for London Fashion Week. Simone Rocha will take the helm at JPGatelier for a special show in January. ⁠

4. Chanel Partners with M+ Museum

Chanel and Hong Kong’s M+ museum have joined forces for a dynamic three-year curatorial program. This collaboration includes significant support for a leading curatorial role, along with the continuation of engaging series such as ‘Rediscoveries’ and ‘Afterimage.’ Together, they will unveil inventive initiatives that celebrate the city’s rich cinematic legacy.

5. Breaking Barriers: Chioma Nnadi Makes History

Chioma Nnadi, a London-born fashion editor, has been appointed as the new head of British Vogue, making history as the first Black woman to assume this prestigious role. Prior to this, she served as the editor of Vogue.com.
