1. Jolie Snaps Up Hot Art Property

Angelina Jolie just snagged the Manhattan property where Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat used to hang out and create their masterpieces. Jolie’s got big plans for the place – she’s going rent it out for her new creative project called Atelier Jolie, and she’s locked it in for a solid eight years. The exterior of the building is adorned in street art, and Jolie will keep it that way as a public tribute to Basquiat, who started his career as one half of the graffiti art duo SAMO.
2. Venus in Rags

A crazy fire that broke out outside Naples City Hall on Wednesday sadly destroyed a famous sculpture by Michelangelo Pistoletto, who’s like a rockstar in the art world. The fire was so intense that it melted the whole plaster figure, leaving only its metal skeleton intact. The sculpture, called “Venus in Rags,” was all about this neoclassical nude Venus digging through a pile of vibrant rags, symbolizing the contrast between heavenly beauty and earthly poverty. They’re still trying to figure out what caused the fire, but the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, suspects it might have been arson.
3. Mira Mikati & Javier Calleja Team Up Again

London-based Lebanese designer Mira Mikati has teamed up with Spanish artist Javier Calleja for their second collaboration. It’s a super cool mix of art and fashion, bringing together Mikati’s love for vibrant colors and Calleja’s unique artistic talent. The limited-edition capsule collection features Calleja’s iconic big-eyed characters on cushions, basketballs, shirts, and outerwear, all made using fancy knitting and fabric printing techniques. And wait for it… they even have these adorable miniature crochet figurines that you can collect. You can shop the entire collection right now on Mira Mikati’s website. Don’t miss out!
