2. Living the Barbie Dream: Airbnbâs Malibu Dream House Brings Fantasy to Life

Airbnb has brought the dream of living in a Barbie world to life. The iconic Malibu DreamHouse, inspired by the beloved toy, is now a reality, drenched in vibrant pink hues and ready to fulfill the wildest fantasies of two lucky guests for a single night. True to its fantastical nature, the mansion boasts an intense pink exterior. Inside, visitors will discover a pool offering a breathtaking ocean view, a meticulously curated wardrobe, a lively dancefloor, a well-stocked bar, a BBQ area, and a host of other exciting amenities. According to Airbnb, the space is graciously hosted by Ken, who has been entrusted with the keys while Barbie is away on her adventures. Starting July 17, just a few days before the movieâs theatrical release, two one-night stays for up to two guests at a time will be available for booking.

Now, one of Dianaâs most famous pieces, the âBlack Sheepâ sweater, is set to be auctioned at Sothebyâs upcoming Fashion Icons sale. Originally produced by the knitwear label Warm and Wonderful, the sweater remained in circulation until 1994. Since Diana wore it, the garment has garnered a cult following. However, the original sweater was thought to be lost until it was fortuitously rediscovered almost four decades later. It is expected to fetch a price ranging between $50,000 and $80,000 USD. The auction will take place in September, with online bidding running from August 31 to September 13.
