1. Jacquemus Reveals First Interior Design Collection

Parisian house Jacquemus has revealed its first interior design collection called ‘Objets‘. Collaborating with Exteta, the renowned Italian luxury furniture manufacturer, this collection pays homage to the famous Italian architect Gae Aulenti by re-issuing some of her creations from the 1960s. “Design, architecture, and art have always been sources of inspiration for Simon Porte Jacquemus,” the brand commented on the new venture.

2. Phallic Phantasy?

Unveiled in Hanover Square London this week was a new significant permanent work by Sean Scully RA titled ‘Landline‘. The sculpture combines layers of coloured marble into a single compressed tower that reflects the deep layers and sediments of history and lived experiences of the diverse people of the local neighbourhood. Comments on the new work via social media read: A sample wall for a tile shop? / Phallic phantasy? / Needs glitter……. What are your thoughts?

3. A Total Wreck!

An unnamed 66-year-old woman reportedly lost control of her 2018 Rolls-Royce Dawn and plowed Damien Hirst’s “Sphinx” painted bronze sculpture when driving through the backyard of collectors Steven and Lisa Tanenbaum’s property in Palm Beach recently.⁠ The sculpture was reportedly valued at $3 million…#awkward

4. Robots Now Taking Over the Photography World

German photographer Boris Eldagsen refused to accept the prestigious SONY World Photography 2023 award after revealing his winning image was made by AI. Eldagsen won the award for his black and white photograph ‘Pseudomnesia / The Electrician’ in the creative open category. ‘I applied to find out if competitions are prepared for AI images to enter. They are not,’ the artist wrote.

5. Nike Jedi
