1. Ok, I Like It, Picasso

A larger-than-life sculpture of Pablo Picasso by Spanish artist Eugenio Merino drew in crowds at ARCO, Madrid’s top contemporary art fair this week.⁠ “Aquí Murió Picasso (Picasso Died Here),” was created as a backlash on art fair culture.

2. Hats off to Gucci

Statement hats ruled supreme at Milan fashion week, in particular, the peacocking feather hats at Gucci. This show was helmed by the new creative director, Sabato De Sarno, formerly of Valentino. The overall mood – 70s lounge with a nod to the Tom Ford era.

3. About Time!

Female artists have gained more wall space at Tate Britain as the Museum in London rehangs the permanent collection. Under director Alex Farquharson, encompassing 800 works in total by 350 artists the Tate Britain will open the refreshed collection to the public on 23 May.

4. Bodyoddy Oddy

Set to launch this spring, it has been announced that Mugler is the next H&M collab. H&Mugler is the first major link-up since Simone Rocha’s capsule collection in 2021. As Diet Prada commented: ‘Are you ready for more bodysuits on your timeline??

5. Jeanine Brito x Nina Ricci

Fashion house Nina Ricci has teamed up with artist Jeanine Brito to celebrate the new dawn of the brand under the creative direction of Harris Reed. Three beautiful paintings reinterpreting the brand’s classic iconography have been created to mark the beginning of this new chapter.
