1. The Art x Fashion worlds are dotty

If you have not yet seen it plastered all over your social media feed yet ⊠Louis Vuittonâs Maison Champs-ĂlysĂ©es flagship store in Paris has been given a Yayoi Kusama makeover for their recent collaboration.â Covering the Art DĂ©co building are her iconic polka dots and floating metal balloons hover over the entrance. And the cherry on top â a huge sculpture of the Japanese artist can also be seen on the roof of the grand building. â Meanwhile, in New York, a robot Kusama can be found painting dots within window display.
2. Keeping it in the family

On Wednesday LVMH chief executive Bernard Arnault, the worldâs richest man, promoted his 47-year-old daughter Delphine to run Dior. The heiress has worked for the family business for 22 years, and was most recently executive vice president of Louis Vuitton. She joins her four brothers in leading one of LVMHâs companies or divisions, including Frederic who is CEO of Tag Heuer, and Alexandre, 30, who is the executive vice president at Tiffany & Co.
3. Princess of the people

One of Princess Dianaâs iconic dresses comes to auction on 27 January at Sothebyâs New York as part of âThe Oneâ sale. âEpitomizing her timeless grace and elegance, the gown was selected for Dianaâs wardrobe and forever immortalized in her official portrait by Lord Snowdon in 1991,â says Sothebyâs Global Director of Regional Art & Objects.



4. Mona Lisa Smile

The Louvre has announced that it will now limit the number of daily visitors âin order to facilitate a comfortable visit and ensure optimal working conditions for museum staff.ââ The Paris museum has been struggling for years against over-attendance, and before the pandemic, the Louvre could welcome up to 45,000 visitors daily. Now, the museum will lower attendees by limiting the number of daily visitors to 30,000.â
5. Ashley Olsen has married an Artist

Fashion mogul Ashley Olsen has reportedly married her longtime partner, artist Louis Eisner, who she has been quietly dating since 2017, in a secret ceremony at a private home in Bel Air last week. Eisner an art graduate of Columbia University was part of Still House Group, a collective of young artists, for years after he graduated.
