1. The Activists Who Became Soup-Erstars

The two activists from Just Stop Oil who threw tomato soup over Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers have been charged. The National Gallery said there is “minor damage” to the frame of the painting, but the work is “unharmed” and is now back on display at the National Gallery in London. The famous 1888 painting has an estimated value of £72.5m.

2. The Latest Coo Coo It Bag

Actor Sarah Jessica Parker has been spotted with an unusual accessory on the set of ‘And Just Like That’ recently. The pigeon is actually a resin clutch that made its debut at the JW Anderson menswear autumn/winter 2022 show in January and has a hefty price tag of £650.

3. I’m Blue Da BA Dee

Guerlain has joined forces with the Yves Klein Foundation for a special edition of the bottle of L’Heure Bleue for their 110th anniversary. The celebrated twilight-inspired fragrance’s Art Nouveau bottle now comes in the shade of Klein blue. Limited to an edition of 30 worldwide, the 1.5-liter bottles of L’Heure Bleue x Yves Klein eau de parfum are available to purchase for $17,000.

4. Paris+ Is a Hit

Hot off the heels of Frieze, the eagerly awaited Swiss-owned Art Basel brought its own brand of style to the French capital with a new fair titled Paris+ this week. During the Paris+ opening, galleries have reported that the sales have been good and there is a clear step up from French fixture Fiac.
