1. The Artworld Pay Their Respects To The Queen

Last week, Britainâs longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, died aged 96. Known for her unwavering sense of duty and devotion to a life of service, the Queen's remarkable reign has seen her become a respected and loved figure across the globe. This also expands across the art world, as she has been a captivating subject for many artists, leading to the creation of various memorable portraits throughout her 70-year reign. The Queen was also a proprietor of The Royal Collection, one of the world's largest and most important art collections in the world.
2. Lil Nas X Closed Vogue World With A Spectacular Performance

On Monday night, during New York fashion week, Grammy award-winning musician Lil Nas X added runway model to his CV. After making his runway debut for the Coach Spring 2023 show, Lil Nas X then closed the Vogue World fashion show with an exciting performance of âIndustry Babyâ. His performance took place alongside guest appearances from the likes of Serena Williams, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Jaquel Spivey, Marcus Samuelsson, and Maya Haile, Jeremy O. Harris, Erykah Badu, and an abundance of supermodels (Joan Smalls, Gigi and Bella Hadid included).
3. The Latest Hottest Fashion Collabs

Favorite IT girls have been plastered across the AW22 campaigns recently including BeyoncĂ© for Tiffany & Co. Elsewhere, Doja Cat, Charli XCX and Pamela Anderson adorned Marc Jacobâs cult-favorite label Heaven, photographed by Harley Weir. Billie Eilish is also the new face of Gucci, this time directed by youth-focused fashion photographer, Harley Weir.

4. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Laura Poitrasâ documentary âAll the Beauty and the Bloodshedâ is an epic, emotional and interlinked story about the artist and activist Nan Goldinâs life, career, and activism around the opioid crisis. Told through her slideshows, intimate interviews, photography, and rare footage, the documentary tells the story of Goldinâs years-long campaign to expose the Sacklersâ role in exacerbating the opioid crisis and their ties to the art world. The documentary won the top honour at Venice this month, becoming one of the few documentaries to win the prestigious award this year.
