1. Philip Colbert Joins The Metaverse

Philip Colbert is famous for his lobster-obsessed art. Now, he’s joined the metaverse! LOBSTEROPOLIS CITY has just opened with a live DJ set by DEVO and a Lobster Land museum show curated by Simon De Pury, SuperRare and Decentraland in the Vegas City District. And, no matter what you might think about NFTs, this is the perfect dose of fun we could do with right now! 

2. Stolen Picasso Painting Recovered After A Decade

Greek authorities have just recovered paintings by Picasso and Mondrian after being stolen from the National Museum in Athens in 2012. The works were discovered in a town in East Attica, Greece, and no doubt will be proudly displayed again soon.

3. Dior Collabs With Travis Scott

Dior’s Menswear show came with a surprise collaboration between Dior’s Kim Jones and Travis Scott. The collection - entitled Cactus Jack - marked the first time a musician has ever collaborated with a full collection. Cacti were a running theme among the pieces, along with artworks by George Condo.

4. Vetements Launches New Brand

Vetements recently posted a video titled "VETEMENTS SECRET PROJECT" on YouTube. The film is pretty intense and apparently signals the launch of a new brand launching on July 22, keep your eyes peeled!

5. Sotheby’s Pop-Up Space In Monaco

All the artists loved the riviera, many people still do! So, it seems like a no-brainer for Sotheby’s to open a pop-up space this summer in Monaco. The new two-floor space will be open between July and October and we’re hoping to score an invite soon!

6. Phillips Opens New Manhattan Headquarters

Phillips is opening a new headquarters in NYC and it’s going to be huge! Located on Park Avenue the new space is designed by studioMDA and the galleries look super dreamy. We can’t wait to visit.
