Now we’re sure you didn’t see this one happening. It’s a collab that art collectors of all budgets will be able to afford. Takashi Murakami X Perrier is set to launch in October and we can’t wait. With a bottle covered in Murakami’s trademark cartoon flowers, we hope it will taste just as good as it looks!
2. Damien Hirst Teams Up With Fondazione Prada To Benefit Children’s Charity

Damien Hirst and Fondazione Prada have come together to produce charity prints that will raise money for Save The Children Italia. Two works based on details from Hirst’s cherry blossom paintings can be bought online until September 27 to help children in Italy.
3. Grimes Drops Prints On eBay

Before Covid hit the world Grimes was planning an art show with Maccarone Gallery, which unfortunately never happened. So, together they are selling the work via eBay with 100% of the proceeds going to charity Carbon 180 to help the environment.

4. Off-White Opens New Flagship In London

Despite the global pandemic, fashion is still here. So, Off-White has just opened a new flagship on London’s swanky Sloane Street. The store was designed together with spatial designer Andrew Taylor-Parr.
5. NYFW Goes Ahead

New York Fashion Week has just opened and parts of it are taking place IRL! Defying the odds, fashion season has gone off with a bang in New York with a schedule of shows going on digitally, with some taking place in person.

6. Christie’s To Host Marina Abramovic Performance

In a strange move, an auction house is now hosting performance art! The work titled The Life will allow visitors to interact with Maria herself via a wearable spatial computing device, how very 2020! The work will be on view between October 8 and October 22, before then going on auction on October 22.
7. FIAC Is Called Off

It is with sad news that we report that Paris’s FIAC fair has been called off for 2020. Despite best efforts, the organisers do not think they can go ahead vis a vis the current global situation.
