📚 SEOUL SCORE: MOMA’S FIRST-EVER BOOKSTORE

MoMA has opened its first dedicated bookstore in Seoul’s Dosan Park, deepening its 20-year partnership with Hyundai Card and boosting the city’s art credentials. The sleek spot holds 1,100+ titles of art, design and photography plus cult MoMA merch like New Era caps and varsity sweaters. Focused entirely on books and paired with Hyundai Card’s live-streaming Digital Wall, it’s a true destination for print-loving art fans.

🎬 DAVID LYNCH’S $15M MID-CENTURY HAVEN

Director David Lynch’s 2.3-acre Los Angeles estate has listed for $15m. Designed in the 1960s by Lloyd Wright (the son of Frank Lloyd Wright) and later expanded with a production suite, screening room and pool house, the Beverly Hills property is pure Mid-Century Modern drama, a creative sanctuary with filmic provenance. “A creative sanctuary and architectural landmark offered with a provenance unlike any other in Los Angeles,” realtor @hellomarcsilver commented on the property.

🥤 CAPRI SUN X CHRISTIAN SIRIANO’S RUNWAY SPLASH

New York Fashion Week’s surprise hit? The Capri Sun x Christian Siriano pouch purse. Blending playful nostalgia with high-fashion flair, the glittery accessory has dominated feeds and front rows alike, proving juice-box chic is officially a thing.

💰 SOTHEBY’S $520M AUTUMN POWER MOVE

Sotheby’s is set for a blockbuster season with two major private collections: Jay & Cindy Pritzker’s 37 works (est. $120m) and Leonard Lauder’s 55 works (est. $400m). Highlights include Klimt’s Portrait of Elisabeth Lederer (est. $150m+) and two prized landscapes, alongside Matisse, Munch and Agnes Martin, a market-defying line-up.

💐 SCENT MEETS COLOUR: AESOP X JACK COULTER

Aesop has teamed up with synaesthete artist Jack Coulter on a painting inspired by its new Above Us, Steorra Eau de Parfum. Translating scent into colour, Coulter’s abstract work captures the fragrance’s stellar mix of notes, turning aroma into a visual constellation.

That’s a wrap: Seoul’s book haven, Lynch’s cinematic home, a juice-box runway moment and Sotheby’s mega sales. All the art-world buzz, neatly poured, until next week – ciao!

💥 PARTNER SPOTLIGHT - ART ATHINA💥

Powered by TATOÏ Club

For this edition, we welcome Art Athina as a partner. In the recent years, Athens not only seems to be one of the most vibrant cities in Europe but also Art Athina has firmly established itself as one of the most influential fairs in the region. Kicking off on September 18th with the vernissage followed by public days on September 19-22, the fair also presents a highbrow program covering a wide range of concerns and approaches, creating space for mediation, exchange, fermentation and “verbal” exchange of views. Highlight: The Art Athina Art for Tomorrow Talks Powered by TATOÏ Club! In case you haven't had the fair on your radar yet, mark your 2026 calendars for a trip to the Greek capital.
