Party Office is an anti-caste, anti-racist, trans*feminist art & social space in New Delhi, India, also operates at satellite locations as well as conceptual architecture. Through publications, grants, radical archives, conversations of life lived, social gatherings, parties and more, we are building translation dialogues on empathetic futures, care communities and radical agency.

Artist-Curator Vidisha-Fadescha has organized alternative art and pedagogic spaces since 2011, and founded Party Office in 2020. Through video, text, sound, and performance Fadescha’s work focuses on the body movement as an archive of multi generational trauma, body as the site to center one's desire; and Party as a site of resilience, and affirmative kinships.Party Office and Fadescha along with 53 artists / collectives, primarily from the global south, have been invited to take part in the 15th edition of documenta; Since its first in 1955, in each edition, documenta has played a leading role in taking the international discourse about art in new directions. documenta fifteen takes place from June 18 to September 25, 2022, under the Artistic Direction of Indonesian collective, ruangrupa at various venues in Kassel, Germany.

‘In Reverie,’ Colette LaVette’s inaugural solo exhibition is a journey to imagined lands far from modern civilization. Rennaissance styles are reimagined in LaVette's work, bringing modern abstract forms into an otherwise classical style of painting. Appearing ephemeral and hazy in quality, rather than being scenes of pure prelapsarian bliss - these phantasmagorical dreamworlds are perhaps not so far removed from our own reality. This intentional ambiguity allows ample room for fluid interpretation on the viewers' part. (...)
