Our own Maja is part of a group project alongside FRZNTE, Kolbeinn Hugi, Margarita Jimeno, Malakoff Kowalski, Roman Roth, Spazio Curacurated by Marie-Therese Bruglacher. "Seven Minutes in Heaven" is the title of a teenage party game. Two people go together into a dark, closed room for seven minutes to do whatever they like with each other until time runs out. Picking up on this concept, this state of shared discovery determines the performance and exhibition Parcours that takes place on the occasion of the opening of the architectural ensemble, designed by Berlin-based architectsAHM. The artists open dialogue with the architecture, its natural surroundings, the history of the site and its future use. The video and sound works, performances and installations question how we move through built, social and natural spaces-how they shape us and, vice versa, how we form them. In doing so they alienate or sharpen our perception of the here and now. They stimulate imaginative spaces that momentarily shake our learned behavior within the context of built environments and social spaces that emerge within them."Seven Minutes in Heaven" is an invitation to continually re-explore city and society through the dialogue between art, architecture and nature. What potential does the attempt hold to understand prefabricated structures of architecture and the public sphere as well as social codes valid therein as unfinished, in the sense of typologically no longer fixed and,in the long term, open spaces?
